About Us
Marianne Greer grew up in Florida, graduated from Oklahoma University, and earned her Master’s of Divinity degree from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. She resides in Lake Oswego, Oregon, is the wife of Clayton, the mother of four sons, and has opened her home to foster children. Marianne has practiced biblical meditation throughout her adult life. After being asked to lead a Bible study on the practice of biblical meditation, and finding no existingmaterials to use in a group setting, she was inspired to create The Bible Study in Stereo. Knowing that biblical meditation begins with memorizing Scripture, and realizing the benefit of using music as a tool, she collaborated with Martha Minter in developing this unique Bible study. Martha is a graduate of Biola University in California, and obtained her master’s in Women’s Ministries from Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon. She is married to Keith and has four children. Marianne and Martha met at Lake Bible Church in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where they began this journey together. Caryl is married to Dennis and has two children and three grandchildren. They live in Wilsonville, Oregon and winter in Green Valley, Arizona. Having been a pharmacist for 30 years, Caryl changed directions in the 1990s and earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Western Seminary. She is currently an adjunct professor at Western. Caryl has been a devoted student of the Bible and loves making the Bible come alive to others. She has spoken at women’s retreats and has taught Bible studies at several churches. Caryl has found that the healing power of God’s Word greatly surpasses that of any medication she ever dispensed as a pharmacist. She loves music and finds it an ideal way to help her remember her favorite Scriptures.
